Our aim is to come up with new, innovative methodologies and research products to support and illustrate futuristic turn of K-Humanities.

This team will establish a model for digital humanities research in which digital infrastructure, data analysis and interpretation, and education/global dissemination blend together. Digital tools and AI are powerful instruments for our research.

This team applies digital and AI technologies to the humanities and tests their effectiveness and scholarly significance. In doing so, it will contribute to the advance of K-Humanities and of humanities and social science research at large.

  • Expanding the Corpus of Modern Korean Magazines built under the HK and HK+ projects, into the Corpus of Modern and Contemporary Korean Newspapers and Magazines
  • Setting a model for research-purpose digital infrastructure
